At its core, working in interior design means going beyond the mere notion of what a client simply “wants.” To me, interior design is a nuanced journey that takes both the spoken aspirations and unspoken desires you may not realize you have, and blends them with the creativity and skillsets I employ. At restoring_sean, our collaboration begins with an immersive consultation, where your dreams find their voice and start to take shape. Through attentive listening and inquiry, I will delve into the layers of your aesthetic identity, crafting the first glimpses of a bespoke roadmap that illuminates the path to realizing your vision.

With these insights as our compass, we embark on the voyage of concept development. Here, the alchemy of creativity and determination intertwines as I weave together your aspirations with my expertise and research.   • $100*

    Your consultation includes either an onsite or video conference walkthrough of your space for one hour, with the discussion centered around your ideas / inspirations / goals. After the consultation, I will provide a preliminary mood board for your space to hone in on what you are looking for.

    *this fee may be applied to additional work if you decide to proceed

  • $200*

    After a consultation and an inspiration board been provided and narrowed down, concept development is the next step. This covers time spent creating a thorough mood board that includes potential (or specific) product ideas discussed, and paint colors if applicable. I will provide a PDF of the mood board, as well as a project estimate** to cover the cost of the work/materials involved.

    *This rate drops to $100 if it stems from a consultation; this rate drops to $50 if I have completed previous projects in your home.

    **Project estimates are subject to change and are just estimates.

  • $100

    My hourly rate encompasses several factors including but not limited to: time spent with the client on new ideas for the project outside of the original scope, time spent shopping/gathering materials, time spent planning installations, assisting clients with shopping for decor or items, sourcing product online, and any additional leg work. This time will always be cleared with the client before it commences.

  • $700*

    The daily rate may be preferable for larger projects than the hourly rate. Rather than itemizing based on painting a space and hanging a few shelves, the scale of a project may require a daily rate. Sometimes, that means installing board and batten throughout an entire living space and painting it all, and sometimes, that means building furniture or helping to hang wallpaper. The parameters of the daily rate will be discussed in advance and agreed upon before any work begins.

    *This rate covers 8 hours of work with a $100 discount and must occur within a 20-mile radius of Appleton, Wi. Additional rates will apply when discussing travel distance and time.

The world of interior design is much more than just concepts of themes and ambiance; it encompasses a myriad of installation services as well. Beyond envisioning your grand design lies the actual execution—a domain where the alignment of your shelves, the arrangement of gallery walls, and the installation wall treatments reign supreme. When it comes to installation services, I’m here to help!

My installation services offer a comprehensive solution to your every spatial need. From wall treatments inspired by the latest Instagram or Pinterest trends you may have seen to the execution of timeless classics like board and batten, no task is trivial or out of the question.

Your questions, whether they’re small queries or big conundrums, are always welcomed! Should the need arise for specialized skills beyond my own, I have a network of trusted individuals ready to lend their expertise.

For me, I look at this work in the way that every challenge is simply another opportunity, and every obstacle is just a stepping stone toward realizing your vision for you. *Installation service pricing includes labor and necessary tools only. I will collect and transport any fixtures / products / paint and supplies (including brushes, rollers, and tape) / lights / decorative accessories as necessary, but they are not included in any pricing discussed.

  • $100 per hour

    10 years running a Pottery Barn store made an imprint, and the response to my decorating videos on YouTube proved it. Do you need your trees trimmed for Christmas? Garland hung, mantles decorated, holiday party planned? Whether it's Halloween or the 4th of July, I will come to your home and decorate with what you've got.   • $300 minimum

    Social media is full of ideas to be borrowed or copied, such as beadboard / board and batten / shiplap / trim boxes and wall designs. Please contact me to discuss rates based on the scale of your project; I would love to hear about it!

  • $300 minimum

    Painting can range from covering walls, to rolling ceilings, to scooting along baseboards to precision trimwork, each requiring a certain level of skill (or patience). Please contact me to discuss rates; I would love to hear about your project!

  • $100*

    This includes hanging up to five individual frames after agreeing on a layout (I will assist with designing the layout as well).

    *An additional $10 per frame is charged after the first five.

  • $150

    This includes hanging up to 3 shelves or ledges, each up to 5ft long. An additional $20 per shelf or ledge is charged after that.

  • $100 minimum

  • $75 minimum

    I’m able and comfortable installing new lighting where existing electrical boxes are in place (AKA replacing old lights). Accurate pricing is based on the scale/weight/amount of the lighting to be installed.

  • $150 per unit*

    This includes the removal and installation of a single ceiling fan where an electrical box already exists.

    *Additional fans at the time of installation receive a $50 discount.

  • $75 per rod

    This includes the installation of a single drapery rod. For larger installations (i.e., three rods or more), discounted bulk rates may be discussed.

  • $50 minimum

    Accurate pricing for installing new hardware for cabinets, drawers, entry doors, and windows is based on the scope. Please contact me to discuss rates; I would love to hear about your project!

  • $75 per hour

    The product must be new (not previously owned / damaged / missing parts) and inbox.
